PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden sliding door for fire prevention, which can prevent fire spreading in case of a fire, even if the door is of wooden construction. SOLUTION: The wooden sliding door for fire prevention is formed by providing a frame body consisting of frame members 7 obtained by cutting a laminate sheet, filling a flame-retardant filler such as rock wool 8 in the frame body, and sticking surface materials 9 and 9 which each are of a wooden plywood with a width of 4 mm or more, onto both sides of the frame body. The door has a metallic upper edge arranged on its upper bed, a metallic lower edge on its under bed, a metallic door tail edge on its tail end, and a door stop formed of flame-retardant rubber on its front end, respectively. The upper edge has an upward extending side piece which prevents a resin roller of a hanger from downward flowing due to melting thereof caused by high heat of a fire.
