PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for subjecting pigment to acid pasting treatment, capable of efficiently and surely obtaining the pigment of which the crystal form and particle diameter are each sufficiently uniform, and to provide an apparatus for subjecting the pigment to acid pasting treatment. SOLUTION: This method for subjecting the pigment to acid pasting treatment includes a first step where a first solution 1 containing water or an alkaline aqueous solution is fed into a flow path 5a and a second step where a second solution 7 containing the pigment and an acid is injected into the first solution 1 flowing through a flow path 5c so that the pigment is subjected to recrystallization.
