PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular baggage compartment structure for preventing the falling of baggage into a gap, eliminating influence on sliding operation even in loading the baggage on a cover member and facilitating the opening/ closing and attachment/detachment of the cover member by blocking a gap between the cover member for covering a compartment in a baggage compartment floor and a seat to be moved with the sliding operation at a position extending from the cover member. SOLUTION: The vehicular baggage compartment structure having the plate cover member 23 for covering an upper opening 22 of the compartment 20 on the baggage compartment floor 3 and the gap between the seat 10 and the cover member 23 varied with the sliding operation of the seat 10 comprises a first plate gap blocking member 41 for blocking the gap. The first blocking member 41 is integrally mounted on the lower side of the cover member 23 in overlapped relation and slidably in the same direction as the sliding direction of the seat 10, with its front rotatably and detachably mounted on the seat 10 for opening/closing the upper opening 22 of the compartment.
