BINDER-LESS ZEOLITE BEAD MOLDINGS, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND ADSORPTION REMOVAL METHOD BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder-less zeolite bead molding having both high strength and excellent adsorption property, a method for manufacturing easily to obtain the molding, and a method for adsorbing and removing a specific component such as a gas or water in a solution by using the molding. SOLUTION: This binder-less zeolite bead molded body has >=95% zeolite content and >=6 kgf mean pressure resistance of the particle having >=1.7 mm diameter among the whole particle. The method for manufacturing the above molded body comprises burning a zeolite bead molded body obtained by molding a mixture comprising zeolite, a kaolin-based clay and an inorganic dispersant, and then making the burned mixture binder-less by bringing it into contact with a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. The method for adsorbing and removing a material in gas or solution to be adsorbed is to use the above binder-less zeolite bead molded body.
