PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer printing system capable of readily forming a specified patterns, capable of providing various kinds of the patterns, and further capable of providing clear patterns after the transfer printing. SOLUTION: This transfer printing system for separately forming arbitrary specific patterns M such as marks, patterns and figures, and carrying out the heat transfer printing for transferring the resultant pattern to a material T to be transfer-printed, such as a shirt and a towel is characterized in that the system is constituted of a computer system 100 for forming the specific pattern M on a display 101, a printer 200 for forming a transfer paper P having a reversed pattern W obtained by reversing the specific pattern M, and printed by jetting sublimating dye ink to a releasable paper S based on the data from the computer system 100, and a press machine 300 having a pair of irons 3 and 4 for transfer-printing the reversed pattern W to the material T to be transfer-printed by heating and pressing the transfer printing paper P, and capable of being moved upward and downward in the vertical direction.
