PURPOSE: A process of preparing mixed grain powder by heating cereals in a high-pressure kettle with a temperature and pressure gauge and then instantaneously opening the inlet of the kettle is provided. The grain is uniformly roasted and ground, thereby having an excellent taste and flavor. CONSTITUTION: Steamed cereals such as glutinous rice, regular rice, unpolished rice, barley or the like are heated in a high pressure kettle with a temperature and pressure gauge in the first stage until the pressure and temperature attain 8kg/cm¬2 and 165 to 170deg.C respectively and then heated in the second stage until it reach the pressure of 12kg/cm¬2 and the temperature of 185 to 187deg.C respectively after reducing the pressure to 2 kg/cm¬2. Thereafter, the inlet of the kettle is instantaneously opened in a state the pressure is reduced to 8 kg/cm¬2 and the cereals having a specified expanded volume are ground. |
