PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a supporting member for a fuel tank in common with a mating attaching member for a hood catch. SOLUTION: An engine 12 mounted on a machine body and the fuel tank 40 arranged adjacently to the engine 12 are covered with a freely openable hood 34, and the hood 34 is attached to the openable and closable around a turning fulcrum 35. The hood catch 48 for holding the hood 34 in a closed condition is engaged disengageably with a support rod 43 for supporting the fuel tank 40 to use in common with the supporting member for the fuel tank 40 as the mating attaching member for the hood catch 48 and to preclude the hood 34 from being opened unnecessarily.
