FLAME RETARDANT FOR MESH SHEET FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK AND FLAMEPROOF MESH SHEET TREATED THEREWITH AND USED FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant for a mesh sheet for use in a construction work which can be stored without an increase in viscosity, can be freely colored, can be incinerated without emitting any halogen gases, and is in a small effective amount to obtain a flame-retardant mesh sheet fabric and to provide a flameproof mesh sheet treated therewith and used for a construction work. SOLUTION: There are provided a flame retardant for a mesh sheet for use in a construction work, prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. (in terms of the resin solids) aqueous polyurethane resin dispersion having a resin solids contents of 25-75 wt.% with 50-400 pts.wt. non-halogenous organic phosphoric ester and 1-15 pts.wt. (in terms of the solids) water-borne oxazoline-group- containing crosslinking agent and a flameproof mesh sheet treated therewith and used in a construction work.
