PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an urine splashing preventing device capable of preventing splashing of urine not to dirt a toilet stool and its peripheral floor when men urinate in a Western style toilet stool and a washing means for the device itself. SOLUTION: The urine splashing preventing device fittable to a toilet stool rim part 3 is disposed in the vicinity of a toilet stool opening part 5 of the Western style toilet stool main body 1. The urine splashing preventing device 2 is provided with an expansible urine splashing preventing cover 4 interlocking with the opening and closing operation of a toilet stool 7 to be automatically formed on the upper side of the toilet stool opening part 5 or stored between the toilet stool rim part 3 and the toilet stool 7, and the urine splashing preventing cover 4 has a distributing water pipe provided at the upper end part thereof for washing the cover.
