PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor with excellent productivity, performance and high reliability capable of effectively catching a refrigerator lubricant scattered around from an end of an eccentric shaft part of a rotating shaft by lubricating a sliding part between a piston and a cylinder and a sliding part between a piston pin and a connecting rod to improve a sealing and lubricating performance. SOLUTION: Forming a notch of a cylindrical form which is as great as or slightly greater than the inner diameter of the cylinder centering an axis line crossing obliquely an axis line of the cylinder at the upper side of a cylinder inner wall on a rotating side of a compressor part makes it possible to ensure spacing for mounting the piston and integrally install a balance weight with a sufficient amount standing off to the eccentric shaft part of the rotating shaft.
