PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground piping method for a pipe capable of simplifying work and shortening a construction period by making use of the existing pipe line. SOLUTION: A starting tunnel and an arrival tunnel are provided on the way of the existing pipe line, a small caliber pipe is inserted into the existing pipe line from the starting tunnel or the arrival tunnel, and it is inserted up to the arrival tunnel or the starting tunnel. A guidance body mounted to the front end of the small caliber pipe is propelled into the existing pipe line from the starting tunnel, and the pipe is inserted up to the arrival tunnel. The guidance body mounted to the front end of a wire rope is propelled into the existing pipe line from the starting tunnel, the end of a small caliber sewer is directly or indirectly mounted on the front end of the wire rope arrived at the arrival tunnel, and the wire rope is taken up to pull the sewer from the arrival tunnel up to the starting tunnel through the existing pipe line.
