PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dyeing method of microscopic samples of tissues placed on slide glasses to a level where the microscopic samples can be processed in parallel according to various dyeing methods. SOLUTION: At slide glass holders, tissue samples are transferred to processing stations (16) via a conveyor (18) and processed in accordance with selectable dyeing methods. The conveyor (18) is constituted so that each slide glass holder (14) is separated and received by the processing station (16) to enable the other slide glass holder (14) related to the selected dyeing method to be transferred while the processing is continued at the processing station (16).
