<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling which is constructed to be small in size, be light in weight, and is low in cost, wherein a pilot clutch is operated by utilizing the existing oil pump. SOLUTION: This coupling comprises a torque transmission member 3 connected to the engine side, a torque transmission member 9 connected to the wheel side, a main clutch 5 arranged between both members 3, 9, a pilot clutch 7 operated intermittently by means of a hydraulic actuator 15, a converting means 11 to press the clutch 5 by a pressing force converted from a transmission torque through the clutch 7, and an existing oil pump 13 disposed in a neighborhood. The hydraulic actuator 15 is operated by hydraulic pressure of the oil pump 13.</p> |
