PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat usable in a comfortable state by composing it in such a way that a seat part can be constantly kept horizontal. SOLUTION: A first support plate 11 roughly parallel to a floor surface is disposed in a seat part or base, a second support plate 23 is disposed in the seat part, plural actuators 40, connected to the first support plate 11 at one end, are connected to the second support plate 23 at the other end, these actuators 40 are connected to a single controller, a detector to detect deflection of the first support plate 11 relative to horizontality is connected to the controller, and drive of the respective actuators 40 is controlled by the controller to constantly keep the second support plate 23 horizontal, thereby a user can be comfortably seated on the seat part.
