PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel packaging box for cathode ray tube wherein a corner portion of a seal edge surface can be prevented from being broken. SOLUTION: In the panel packaging box for cathode ray tube wherein a panel 4 is horizontally set and stored by providing buffer materials to support the panel 4, with the seal edge surface 4c thereof being facing downward, the buffer materials are used to support the surface 4c to be stored, excluding four corner portions 4d thereof. The panel 4 to be stored is suitably applied to a flat panel having a flat external surface.
