PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system driving support device capable of suppressing an increase of friction by reducing radial load toward two bearings provided on an assist actuator and capable of providing high vertical and horizontal supporting rigidity without causing centrifugal whirling of a steering wheel by absorbing axial deviation and centrifugal whirling of a column shaft. SOLUTION: In this steering system driving support device, the assist actuator 7 having a motor 8 and a speed reducing mechanism is provided in a partway position of the column shaft 2, and in the assist actuator 7, a driving gear 10 of the speed reducing mechanism is driven by the motor 8 and a driven gear 12 of the speed reducing mechanism is provided in the column shaft 2. Both side positions of the driven gear 12 are supported rotatably in regard to a steering column 1 by the two bearings 19 and 20 and the driven gear 12 and the column shaft 2 are coupled via an elastic body 11. |
