METHOD FOR ELECTRODEPOSITING WOOD COLORS ON ALUMINUM PANEL

PURPOSE: A method for electrodepositing wood colors on an aluminum panel is provided to prevent decoloration and discoloration due to superior weatherability and prevent delamination by applying patterned wood colors to surface treatment process of aluminum panel, thereby directly electrodepositing wood colors on the surface of aluminum panel. CONSTITUTION: In treating the surface of an aluminum panel extruded profile shape, the method for electrodepositing wood colors on an aluminum panel comprises blasting process of removing dies line of the aluminum extruded profile shape by shaking stainless steel balls having a size of 0.2 to 0.6 mm(200 to 400 μm) operated a speed of 6 to 9 m/min onto the surface of the aluminum extruded profile shape at a pressure of 1 to 3 kg/cm¬2 so that better adhesive property is obtained, and smooth feelings are maintained in the following process of electrodeposition; racking process of fixing the aluminum extruded profile shape for processing so that electricity easily flows to the aluminum extruded profile shape using jig or tool after blasting; degreasing process of removing foreign materials stuck to the surface of aluminum panel using surfactant; etching process of removing dies line formed on aluminum during extrusion using sodium hydroxide; neutralization process of neutralizing strong alkalinity of sodium hydroxide stuck to the aluminum panel during etching process using strong acid; anodizing process of forming an artificial anodized film by supplying electricity to the aluminum panel fixed in the racking process; first boiling water washing process of removing impurities contained in cells of the anodized film formed in the anodizing process using purified water; wood pattern forming process of forming various wood patterns on the aluminum panel using paints capable of electrodeposition as passing the aluminum panel through plate rollers rotated at a voltage of 220 volts and a speed of 3 to 6 m/min after the first boiling water washing process; second boiling water washing process of contracting size of pores formed on the anodized film during the anodizing process to 1/2 size thereof by dipping the aluminum panel into pure water having temperature of 75 to 80 deg.C for 60 to 70 seconds after the wood pattern forming process; and electrodeposition process of moving the aluminum panel to an electrodeposition tank so that the aluminum panel is electrodeposited using aqueous acryl clear.
