PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a damaged part of a lining glass layer in a glass-lined device, which repairs easily the damaged part of the lining glass layer with high reliability, without using a large-scale device. SOLUTION: This method comprises washing the damaged part 3 of the lining glass layer 2 of the glass-lined device with high pressure water jet spray, putting flakes or powder of glass for repair on the damaged part 3, softening the glass for repair 4 by heating it to softening point or more of the glass for repair 4 with a gas burner 10, while applying vibration to the flake-shaped or powdery glass for repair by a vibrator 6 of an oscillation body 5, and then slowly cooling the heated and softened glass for repair 4.
