PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify housing, display, taking-out of a plurality of column-shaped articles, and storage of the articles in non-using condition or the like. SOLUTION: This packaging container is constituted of a box body which is provided with the first and second wall surfaces 11 and 12 to be opposing main wall surfaces, and each opposing two pairs of the third and forth wall surfaces 13 and 14 and the fifth and sixth wall surfaces 15 and 16 arranged between an opposing pair of side edges to these the first and second wall surfaces. At the midway points in between the fifth and sixth wall surfaces, cutting assist lines e.g. perforations which can be cut off crossing the third and forth wall surfaces from the second wall surface are formed. The box body is cut along the cutting assist lines, and divided into two parts by folding into two at a straight line for linking between the both ends of the cutting assist lines as a folding part with the first wall surface inside, thus, the container is constituted so as to be able to release the inside of the box body.
