PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent barrier properties to various gases such as oxygen gas, moisture and the like, particularly having excellent barrier properties thereto under a high humidity environment, to provide an easily and stably producing method of the resin composition, and to provide a film, a paper laminate, and a vessel using the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer saponified material having an ethylene content of 1-15 mole%, (B) another ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer saponified material having an ethylene content of 15-70 mole%, and (C) an inorganic layer structure compound.
