The device, for capturing hydraulic energy, consists of a vertical duct (5), with the lower part fitted with a pyramidal-cylinder and the upper part with a spiral tube, in which is fitted a co-axial turbine. The turbine consists of vertical curved paddle blades (11) and a supply pipe (8), which discharges tangentially into the upper part of the duct, so as to generate in the duct a helical flow around the turbine, due to the Coriolis forces.
