PURPOSE: A device for drying solid matters is provided to effectively discharge sludge by rotating solid matters to one side consecutively and thermally expanding the solid matters by continuously heating a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A device for drying solid matters includes a transmission gear(10) disposed at a side of a deceleration device(20a) having a plurality of deceleration shafts(22) and deceleration gears(24), a driving shaft(32) having a side connected with the deceleration device and the other side connected with a screw shaft(50a), a slave shaft(34) connected to the driving shaft by a gear(38) and having a screw shaft(50b) connected at a side of the slave shaft, a cylinder(40) containing the screw shafts, which are mounted parallel to each other within the cylinder and rotatably engage each other, a plurality of heating parts(46) disposed on an outer circumference of the cylinder, and a vacuum pump mounted at a side.
