METHOD OF PRODUCING BENTONITE SLURRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing bentonite slurry having low viscosity and high density and capable of increasing the amount of bentonite mixed with an insitu ground or the like and hence ensuring the strength as a ground and enhancing required performances such as cut-off property. SOLUTION: Ethanol, water, and bentonite are mixed to obtain the slurry having low viscosity/high density, and it is preferable that ethanol aqueous solution having ethanol concentration of 40-60 mass % is employed.
