PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stress transfer device capable of preventing the transfer of bending moment between a pile head and an upper structure without accompanying the rise of a cost and favorably coping with shear force acting between the pile head and the upper structure at that time and a structure making use of the stress transfer device. SOLUTION: A pile head member 5 set on the pile head 2a of a footing pile 2 and a structure supporting member 6 fixed to the upper structure 3 are vertically brought into contact with each other through a contact surface 8 as a part of a virtual spherical surface Sv. At that time, the contact surface 8 is formed in a circular shape with a vertical shaft Va passing through the center of radius of curvature of the virtual spherical surface Sv as the center shaft.
