PURPOSE: A cyber publication method on the Internet and an apparatus therefor are provided to retrieve processed editing layout data and editing data through the Internet, select data to be suitable for a desired publication, and edit the selected data or request the editing of the data. CONSTITUTION: An editing layout database and an editing database are constructed(201). A user performs a user registration in a main server through a computer communication network such as the Internet, or if the user is a member, the user inputs a user name and a password and performs a log-in in the main server(203). The user uses data stored in the editing layout database and the editing database(205). The editing layout database and the editing database are retrieved and various data are selected, and the selected data are edited and necessary data are ordered(207).
