PURPOSE: A pad part structure of a liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to directly connect a transparent conductive film to a pad metal film and a substrate in pad open areas for improving the adhesive force in the pad open areas, thereby preventing the deviation of the pad metal film from the substrate. CONSTITUTION: A pad part structure of a liquid crystal display includes a substrate(21), an insulation layer(23) formed on substrate except open areas for electric connection with an external driving circuit, a pad metal film(22) formed on the substrate and having a plurality of substrate exposure areas(26) to expose the substrate in the open areas, and a transparent conductive film(25) connected to the substrate and the pad metal film via the substrate exposure areas, wherein the transparent conductive film is electrically connected to the external driving circuit by tab automated bonding(TAB).
