摘要 PURPOSE: A waveguide division multiplexing/demultiplexing system having an optical waveguide is provided to minimize efficiently a cross-talk by using an arrayed waveguide grating. CONSTITUTION: An optical coupling waveguide(320,330) is separated as much as a predetermined distance(D2,D3) toward a diameter direction of each waveguide(162,63) forming the second waveguide. A grating(325,335) is formed on one end of the optical waveguide(320,330) in order to combine a channel progressed into the waveguide(162,163). The grating(325,335) has maximum coupling efficiency at a wavelength of the channel to remove noise mixed in the wavelength of the channel. The wavelength of the noise is different from the wavelength of the channel. The grating(325,335) is formed by an optical fiber grating.
