DEVICE FOR STABILIZING FREE SURFACE ROLLING

PURPOSE: An anti-rolling tank of free surface is provided to reduce rolling of a ship, and to prevent accidents by forming bores with exchanging free surfaces and by using opposite moment of rolling in waving. CONSTITUTION: An upper tank(13) and a lower tank(12) are installed doubly in an anti-rolling tank of free surface, and the upper part of the upper tank is opened. Holes are formed in the plate of the lower tank, and a drain port(11) is installed in the lower part of the lower tank. The upper tank is integrally formed with the lower tank. Water is streamed through holes of the lower tank in flowing water in the upper tank. Rolling is reduced with changing in filling water in the lower tank and charging water in the upper tank. The depth of water is adjusted with forming the drain port. The overturn of the ship and accidents are prevented with stabilizing the ship by reducing rolling.
