PURPOSE: An earthing plug for absorbing and eliminating electromagnetic waves is provided to remove electromagnetic waves and confirm the connection of an outlet and a plug. CONSTITUTION: An earthing plug for absorbing and eliminating electromagnetic waves includes a short-circuit current blocking circuit(10), the first plug terminal, the second plug terminal(12), and an earth checking circuit(13). The short-circuit current blocking circuit has a blocking capacitor for restricting the magnitude of short-circuit current. One end of the capacitor is grounded. The first plug terminal receives AC to provide electric energy to a device using electricity through a conductive wire. The second plug terminal is connected to the other end of the blocking capacitor.
