Use of copolymer of amino acid and co-condensable compound in cosmetic and dermatological products, has better water solubility than polyamino acids

Use, in cosmetic and dermatological compositions, of a copolymer (I) produced by condensation of: (i) lysine, arginine, ornithine and/or tryptophan; and (ii) at least one co-condensable compound (II), i.e. optionally substituted or functionalized amines or non-protein-forming carboxylic acids; optionally substituted alcohols; urea; guanidine or melamine. An independent claim is also included for cosmetic/dermatological compositions containing skin-compatible (I).
