The printing group (1) has an image cylinder (2) and an image transfer cylinder (5) with an elastic jacket (7) transferring the image to a print substrate (6). A transportation belt (11) carrying the print substrates drives the image transfer cylinder using a counter-pressure cylinder (12). The counter-pressure cylinder is arranged with a path dependent pressure force with respect to the image transfer cylinder, so that the speed of the image cylinder keeps constant with changes of the effective radius (r) of the image transfer cylinder.
