PURPOSE: A water feeding apparatus for a vending machine and a control method for the water feeding apparatus are provided to offer high quality of cool beverage with several pieces of ice. CONSTITUTION: The water feeding apparatus of a vending machine for providing cool beverage is comprised of a water sterilizing purifier(10); a hot water reservoir(20) and a cool water reservoir(30); an ice maker(40); a hot water valve(21) for controlling the feeding of hot water contained in the hot water reservoir; and a cool water valve(31) for controlling the feeding of cool water contained in the cool water reservoir. If a user selects a desired cool beverage, the hot water valve is actuated to discharge hot water, and then beverage material and ice are discharged and mixed at regular intervals. When the beverage material is completely mixed with the hot water and the ice, cool water is discharged and mixed with them. |
