PURPOSE: A parking brake apparatus of a bicycle is provided to reduce expenses and improve stability by using the existing parking brake, and to prevent accidents on the inclined way by applying to various bicycles. CONSTITUTION: A bicycle parking brake system is composed of a brake body(100), a brake string hole(102), a fixing pin(103), a brake string fixing unit(200), a brake string, a spring pushing for operating the brake string fixing unit actively, and a band clip hole(101) installing a band clip for fixing the brake system in a handle of the bicycle. The parking brake is fixed in the handle through the band clip hole with the band clip, and the brake string is penetrated through the brake string hole with binding about the lever. The parking brake is operated simply with pulling the brake string, and released with pushing the upper part of the brake string fixing unit. The brake string is released with the restoring spring of the parking brake.
