PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which is improved moisture retaining from user's sweat disperses uniformly a body pressure, has a good cushion property and air permeability, and is also easy to wash. SOLUTION: In a mattress, a soft layer is placed on a hard layer. The hard layer has a spring structure of continuous random loops made of polyester thermoplastic resin, the thickness of which is greater than or equal to 20 mm and less than or equal to 80 mm, and whose resilience when compressed to 50% is greater than or equal to 10 kgf and less than or equal to 30 kgf. The soft layer is made of fibers, the thickness of which is greater than or equal to 40 mm and less than or equal to 100 mm, and whose resilience when compressed to 50% is greater than or equal to 2 kgf and less than or equal to 6 kgf, in a state of containing 4% or more moisture. The amount of sinking of the layered mattress is greater than or equal to 20 mm to ensure the excellent cushion property.
