PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub installable in a general bathroom in a house and comfortably usable by both handicapped and non-handicapped people, and a bathing device allowing a user to bathe while sitting on the seat part of a wheelchair. SOLUTION: The bathing device 1 comprises the wheelchair 2 with the seat part 5 separable from a leg part 4, and a bathtub 3 accommodating the bather seated on the seat part 5, together with the seat part 5. The wheelchair 2 includes a plurality of rollers 28 journaled to the seat part 5, and a chair side support rail 16 supporting the seat part 5 and regulating the direction of movement. The bathtub 3 includes a bathtub body 50 formed with a shallow stepped portion 55, a bathtub side support rail 51 regulating the direction of movement of the seat part 5 and supporting the seat part 5, and a raising and lowering means 52 for raising and lowering the bathtub side support rail 51 between a lower limit position and an upper limit position. |
