PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakdown of a nonlinear element due to current concentration. SOLUTION: The nonlinear element, a MIM element, which undertakes a role as a heating means to heat and foam ink is provided with a first electrode 6 to which a voltage V1 is applied by a first voltage applying means 61, a second electrode 5 to which a voltage V2 is applied by a second voltage applying means 62, set on a lower layer 22, and an insulative thin film 24 which insulates the first electrode 6 from the second electrode 5. A first potential applied position 701 of the first electrode 6 to which the potential V1 is applied and a second potential applied position 702 of the second electrode 5 to which the potential V2 is applied are arranged so as to be separated each other on a surface of projection in a film thickness direction of the nonlinear element 1.
