PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extractor for removing bitterness and roughness from coffee, black tea and the like therein by surely preventing oozing the bitterness or the roughness from coffee grounds or used tea leaves or the like being left at the lower portion of a filtering body 16, and mixing with coffee or black tea or the like to be served from the upper portion, after a proper time for the extraction of coffee or black tea or the like. SOLUTION: The extractor 2 having the filtering body 16 fixed at the lower region of a rod body and also keeping a filter therein, has a movable cylinder 18 overlappedly equipped by the outer-periphery region of the rod body for opening or shutting more than one penetrating hole 22 disposed on top of the upper portion 24 of the filtering body, a bitterness and roughness removing plate 20 fixed at the lower part thereof and a knob fixed in the vicinity of the upper end of the cylinder 18.
