<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure and manage a body condition including the heart rate and the respiration rate, and the like, in addition to the body weight by the use of electric signals obtained by measuring the body weight. SOLUTION: The body weight is measured by a measuring means 24 disposed at a bed 14 of a measurement device 15, and the heart rate and the respiration rate are detected by using a detecting means 25 from the electric signals obtained by the measurement device 24. The detecting means 25 detects the heart rate from the unitwave shape of the electric signal and detects the respiration rate from the continuous wave shape being continuously composed of plural unit-wave shapes. The data obtained by the measurement device 15 are sent to a management device 16 through a communication line 13, and the received data are memorized and managed by the management device 16. Therefore, the body condition can be remotely managed by the management device 16 in a distant area away from the measurement place.</p> |
