REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A refrigerant and control method of the same are provided to improve efficiency of refrigerating cycle. CONSTITUTION: A control device of a refrigerator executes freezing mode starting operation starting operation at freezing mode after a compressor(15) is stopped because temperature in a refrigerator compartment(4) and freezer compartments(7,8) drops under set temperature or after defrosting operation; switches operation to refrigerating mode after cooling at freezing mode starting operation for fixed period when the compressor is started by demand to execute the cooling mode; and sets the fixed period of freezing mode starting operation in inverse proportion to rotational frequency of the compressor.
