REFLECTOR OF LIGHT SOURCE LAMP FOR PROJECTION DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A reflector of a light source lamp for a projection display is provided to maximize the optical efficiency and to improve uniformity by designing a reflector corresponding to the light distribution of a bulb. CONSTITUTION: A reflector is designed as an oval unit corresponding to the light distribution of a bulb. Herein, the distance(a) between focuses is 102.1mm. The effective diameter(b) of a reflecting surface is 78.8mm. The diameter(r) of a parabolic reflector is 119.7mm. The light distribution of the bulb is concentrated between 30 degrees and 150 degrees from an optical axis without loss. Therefore, the light efficiency is maximized.
