PURPOSE: An Internet based 3-dimensional AD(advertisement) system and a method using the same are provided to make the masses enhance the recognition of an AD contents by using a 3-D display media as an AD transfer means and synchronizing with the Internet. CONSTITUTION: The system consists of an AD system server, one or two more AD system client, and the Internet connecting the server and the clients. The AD server comprises a web server displaying the information about the AD system to the advertising owner connected through the Internet and providing an interface for advertising owner in order to the order/editing/updating of the AD contents data, a monitoring server collecting/observing/controlling the information about the AD clients and transferring the owner's command for editing/updating of the data through the web server to the AD system clients, a contents server managing all data about the AD system server and transferring an advertising contents requested by the user to the AD system, and a contents database storing all data about the AD system. The AD system client includes a monitoring client, a contents manager, a contents player and a contents database.
