PURPOSE: A wide width casting rolls of a twin roll strip caster with a high cooling efficiency is provided which reduces a heat flux transferred from the surface to the central part of the casting rolls to the utmost by forming cooling holes with a minimum diameter in multi-rows on the sleeve part of the wide width casting rolls having a large diameter. CONSTITUTION: In casting rolls(3) of a twin roll strip caster into the central part of which shafts are inserted, and sleeves are shrinkage fitted onto the outer wall of the shafts, the wide width casting rolls of a twin roll strip caster with a high cooling efficiency is characterized in that the casting rolls(3) consists of wide width rolls having a certain width and equipped with cooling holes(8,8') having a certain diameter(D) which are formed in multi-rows at the lower part of the surface layer of the sleeve(6) of the casting rolls with the cooling holes(8,8') spaced apart from each other in a certain distance(H), wherein the casting rolls(3) consists of wide width rolls(3) having a width of 1000 to 2000 mm, and wherein the cooling holes(8,8') having a diameter(D) of 10 to 20 mm are formed in two rows at the sleeve(6) of the casting rolls.
