PURPOSE: The titled coating apparatus and a method capable of carrying out one to triple coating treatment with one coating machine and simultaneously multiple coating treatment of two articles are provided, thereby solving problems such as time loss accompanied by execution of many processes, defect generation and quality deterioration at the same time. CONSTITUTION: Two roll fabrics such as A roll fabric(18) and B roll fabric(19) are disposed instead of conventional one roll fabric, and two heating apparatus such as a first heating apparatus(20) and a second heating apparatus(21) are disposed instead of conventional one heating apparatus. Between the heating apparatus(20, 21) and a first drying apparatus(4), a first coating apparatus(3) and a second coating apparatus(5) are disposed respectively, a coating-finish winder(8) is disposed between the first and second dying apparatus to finish the coated fabric right after passing through the first drying apparatus and then a tenter apparatus(9) and a third coating apparatus are each disposed successively.
