The invention relates to a self-adhesive film for fixing a floor covering, especially a carpet, having an own weight of more than 500 g/m<2>, to a floor, especially parquet or stairs. Said film comprises a carrier layer consisting of a plastic film which is coated with a contact adhesive on an upper surface facing the floor covering, and on a lower surface facing the floor or the stairs. Said film has a minimum breadth of 150 mm in order to be able to cover a large area of the floor or stairs to be covered with the floor covering. The contact adhesive is fixed to at least the lower surface of the carrier layer in such a way that it remains thereon when the self-adhesive film is removed. |
