PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar wave feeder, which can be miniaturized and inexpensively configured, capable of efficiently feeding planar waves. SOLUTION: One terminal of a parallel plate waveguide formed of parallel facing first and second plates 21 and 22 is closed with a conductor plate 23, a dielectric substance 25 in the form of rectangular pole is located along with the conductor plate 23 while being held between the first and second plates 21 and 22, an electromagnetic wave transmitted from one terminal to the other terminal inside the dielectric 25 is leaked by providing metallic strips 26 and 27 at a prescribed interval on a fourth side face 25d on the opposite side of a first side face 25a opposed to the conductor plate 23 of the dielectric substance 25, and that leaked wave is converted to a plane wave by parallel plate waveguides formed from the first and second plates 21 and 22, and radiated from the other terminal. |
