<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a solid-state imaging device which can display both a still image and a dynamic image such that a relatively bright dynamic image can be displayed by performing vertical addition and horizontal addition of charges in displaying a dynamic image but an intricate signal processing is required when a conventional color filter array is used because charges read out from a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements, above which color filters of different colors are disposed, are added and improvement of S/N ration becomes difficult. SOLUTION: Color filters of a plurality of colors are arranged basically under a first repetitive pattern in both row and column directions of a photoelectric conversion element array and a color filter is disposed separately from the first repetitive pattern such that color filters of the same color are disposed, respectively, above at least four photoelectric conversion elements which can be handled as one pixel in signal processing by performing vertical addition and horizontal addition of charges.</p> |
