PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the variable functional switches 6 of a remote control device which is constituted to remotely control a plurality of kinds of devices by switching modes, and has a plurality of variable functional switches 6 the functions of which change when the switches 6 are operated after one mode is switched to another mode to display the functions which change according to the modes without consuming electric energy and to make mode switching through simple operation. SOLUTION: The remote control device is provided with a moving body 3 for display switching which makes the functions of the variable functional switches 6 the functions of which are switched when a mode changeover switch 8 is operated for switching modes in the mode corresponding to the contents of operation of the switches 6 to be displayed. The moving body 3 acts to make each variable functional switch 6 display the function of the switch 6 switched in accordance with the mode by means of function displays 6a in a car navigation mode and by means of function displays 6b under a car audio mode. |
