Providing a naturally occurring physiologically active substance effective for fish parasites, and a fish feed containing the substance, wherein the naturally occurring physiologically active substance is an essential oil containing eugenol, cineol, citronellal, menthol and/or linalyl acetate and has an effect on fish parasitism and wherein the fish feed contains the essential oils as naturally occurring physiologically active substances; and also providing a fish feed containing essential oils containing eugenol, cineol, citronellal, menthol and/or linalyl acetate as a naturally occurring physiologically active substance with an effect on fish parasitism.
