PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit that has proper probability and operability and can ensure an image pickup range, without needing much space for an imaging device. SOLUTION: The information processing unit is provided with a display section that displays graphics and characters or the like on its screen and with an operation section that is used to enter information, and also with an upper panel onto which the display section is placed, a lower panel onto which the operation section is placed, and a camera section that has a lens section and a turning shaft. The camera section can be mounted onto the upper panel.
