METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR EVALUATING NATURAL GAS CONTRACT BY USING MEASUREMENT STANDARD BASED UPON WEATHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system, and a computer program PRODUCT which evaluate natural gas futures and option contracts by using measurement standards based upon weather. SOLUTION: By those method and computer program product, a buyer and a trader of gas can make decisions after obtaining information on dealings in natural gas futures and future options at a restricted exchange such as the New York exchange (NYMEX) according to the prediction and history of weather. This system includes weather forecast, weather history, and natural-gas relative databases, a trading server, and several workstation clients and supports the trader to make complicated buying/hedge decisions.
